Over time any gearhead will acquire all the tools they need for a complete tool box. As you build your toolbox, you'll probably start with some cheap tools, maybe no name brand, stuff from Harbor Freight, etc. Eventually these items may break, get lose or not be worth purchasing anymore. Eventually you'll begin acquiring nice tools like Kobalt, Craftsman, or even Snap-On.
